چکیده
Abstract Although research on seismic interferometry is now entering a phase of maturity, earthquakes are still the most troublesome issues that plague process in real applications. To address problems arise from spatially scattered and temporally transient enormous earthquakes, preference usually given to use time-dependent weights. However, small can also have disturbing effect accuracy interpretations if they persistently clustered right next perpendicular bisector line joining station pairs or close proximity one stations. With regard suppression these cluster commonly used solutions for dealing with monochromatic microseismic events (e.g., implementing band-reject filter around comparatively narrow frequency band whitening amplitude spectra before calculating cross-spectrum between two signals) may not necessary efficiency since earthquake clusters generally collection different magnitudes, each having its own energy contents. Therefore, only solution left such situation stronger non-linear weights square running average one-bit normalization), which cause Green’s function information be lost. In this paper, by simulating records benchmark M N 5.2 help empirical functions (EGF) obtained after Ahar-Varzeghan Earthquake Doublet (M 6.4 6.3), it shown amplitude-unbiased cross-correlation relatively efficient approach face concerning long-standing events.
